I investigate experiences and connections that are not immediately apparent—things that can be sensed before they can be clearly named or explained.
Across painting, moving image, installation, and material experimentation, I use making as a way of deepening awareness: of a place, a body, a memory, or a relation. I am interested in how familiarity can dull perception, and how absence, change, or sustained attention can make what was always present newly perceptible.
